We know how important it is to look your best for your special portrait, so we've compiled a list of ten things to keep in mind when preparing for your portrait session.
1. Wear the right clothing. Solids are best; avoid busy prints and patterns.
2. If you plan to have your hair cut for your portrait, schedule your hairdresser's appointment several days before your portrait appointment. Choose a hairstyle that's natural for you.
3. Don't worry about wearing glasses. You can have your portrait taken with and without your glasses, so that you can choose the look that suits you best. Glass glare will never be a problem at Pat's Studio.
4. Girls - please check our Look Your Best page for Make-up tips. Keep your make up fresh and natural.
5. Guys - a close shave is important.
6. Stay out of the sun! Avoid overexposure from the sun or tanning beds in the days before your session.
7. Get plenty of sleep the night before your appointment - it really does show if you're exhausted.
8. Keep jewelry to a minimum. Bulky or shiny jewelry can glare or distract from your portrait.
9. Relax! Let Pat's Studio take the stress out of your portraits, no matter what the occasion.
10. Choose the right studio - Pat's Studio, of course. Call today for your appointment!
